An artificial tree can bring greenery to an empty corner without a watering routine. But height is only part of the decision: the width of the foliage, the space around it and the included pot all matter. Here is how to choose between three trees from Bright Basket.
Start by measuring your space
Measure from the floor to your preferred height, then check the width and depth available. Leave room for doors, curtains and walkways. A tree's overall height includes its supplied pot, so consider how placing it inside a decorative planter might affect the finished display.
Choose an olive tree for a smaller footprint
Our 120cm Artificial Olive Tree measures approximately 40cm wide by 30cm deep when arranged. Of these three options, it has the smallest listed footprint, making it worth considering where floor space is limited.
Realistic artificial olives and wired stems let you shape the display. It comes in a moss-covered weighted plastic pot, approximately 16cm in diameter and 13cm high. A larger decorative planter is not included.
Important: The olives are artificial and not edible. Take care when displaying the tree around small children.
Choose a ficus tree for an included decorative planter
Our 120cm Artificial Ficus Tree with Copper Planter has a twisted trunk and adjustable wired stems. Its arranged size is approximately 120cm tall by 60cm wide and 60cm deep, so allow more room around the foliage than you would for the olive tree.
This option includes both a plain plastic pot and a separate copper metal planter measuring 20cm wide by 18cm high. Place the potted tree inside the metal planter, then arrange the stems to suit your space.
Choose bamboo for extra height and natural canes
Our 150cm Artificial Bamboo Tree with Natural Canes is the tallest of these three options. It measures approximately 150cm tall by 60cm wide and 60cm deep when arranged.
It combines natural bamboo canes with artificial green foliage and comes in a plain black weighted plastic pot. A larger decorative planter is not included. Consider it for a corner where you want a taller leafy display, while keeping access routes clear.
Check the pot before choosing a planter
The ficus includes a decorative copper planter; the olive and bamboo do not include a larger decorative planter. If you plan to add your own, check its internal dimensions against the supplied pot before buying. Decorative planters shown in product photography are not necessarily included, so always check the product details.
Shape and care for your tree
The olive and ficus have adjustable wired stems, which you can gently arrange to suit the space. Artificial greenery needs no watering, but it still benefits from occasional dusting. Follow the individual product's care guidance, and do not assume an artificial tree is suitable for permanent outdoor use unless that is specifically stated.
Which one suits your home?
Choose the olive for its smaller listed footprint, the ficus for its twisted trunk and included copper planter, or the bamboo for its taller display and natural canes. Measure your chosen spot first, then check the full product details before ordering.
